Sony 50Crm80Ls2 T 80 Minute Audio Cd R 50 Ct

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Sony not the one and only but the 50 pack is a fine choice!
As the author of the Jefferson Airplane book “Take Me To A Circus Tent” and a former radio disc-jockey, I am often asked to write and or discuss various recordings from the 60’s and 70’s. Sometimes as a person that has worked in electronic stores my thoughts are requested on recording equipment and electronics.

Sony CDR 80-Minute Music Spindle - 50-pk.

Sony has been ultra reliable for me as a recording medium for blank CDR’s. I have used a substantial amount over the years for both data and pictures.

The CD’s have held up well and there have been very little that were defective right out of the package. While the quality control is a shade below the Fuji from Japan, in no way should Sony be considered a poor second choice.

For maximum shelf life the recorded CD’s should be in jewel cases and not in paper sleeves. If you are into making your own labels make sure to use the better quality paper. The inferior thin labels not only will curl up before they are placed on the CD but the glue will actually get into the CD itself. Many defective CD’s are not the fault of the manufacturer but the consumer not using best judgment.

Enjoy the music and be well,

Craig Fenton

5 Stars Great Product
This was a great product. After finding and trying cheaper Cd’s, it’s great to find a product that I didn’t have to throw in the garbage can because they didn’t work. The shipping was extremely fast and I was pleased to receive the items quickly.

5 Stars I’ve never reviewed 50 cd’s at the same time before…
This is my first ever review of a product that is not a recorded cd. But these BLANK music cd’s from Sony so impressed me that I had to give them due credit.

I’ve burned hundreds (and I mean well over a thousand!) cd’s over the past five years on my Phillips CDR-775. I always felt a little ripped off when the first few cd’s from any one package could not be read by my burner, and I always suspected that part of the problem was the way the cashier would run the cd’s over their magnetic deactivator (whatever the technical term is!) to disable the anti-shoplifting EAS tag typically attached to the top cover of the blank cd container. I thought that maybe that process was also rendering the top few cd’s incapable of being read or initialized. I’ve been told that that theory is invalid…but I’m not convinced.

In the past, I’ve had pretty good luck with Sony and Maxell brand music cd’s, and lesser luck with Memorex and generic store brands. I recently had a couple packages of Memorex music cd’s that I bought at different local music stores, and at least half of the cd’s were useless in both packages. (My son is able to use them for burning music on our computer, so not a total loss.) I actually started to wonder if it was my aging Phillips burner that was the problem; I mean, I have given it quite a workout the past few years! So to try something different, I’ve recently begun ordering these Sony music cd’s online from Amazon; the brand served me well in the past, and I figured that I wouldn’t have to deal with the possibility of a cashier de-magnetizing the first few cd’s of a new package since it was coming from an online store - no store security device to deactivate…

EUREKA! The Sony cd’s always arrive within a couple of days, and I have had the pleasure of NEVER finding a blank cd that my burner rejects. This is the only way that I will ever buy blank music cd’s in the future, and Sony will have to screw up awfully big for me to change brands now. Even considering the additional shipping cost that you would save at a typical “brick and mortar” store, this product is an excellent value for your dollar, and highly recommended. (If 14 of the blank cd’s from your local store are no good anyway, then this option makes more sense.)

Hint: Buy the 50-pack and save yourself about 24 cents per cd over the usual 30-pack price. Worthy.

5 Stars Sony music cdr
The product came in right on time and I have yet to have a coaster. I have used 20 in the past month.

5 Stars Great Disks
These are the best audio disks for the money.. I have never had one go bad… I have burned hundreds… just make sure the ones you buy are from Japan…

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Sony portable DVD player
We bought this to replace another portable DVD player (different brand) that was “end of life”, but had been used extensively for several years.

This one had good reviews, & durability & battery life are also important to me for travel, so chose this one, and have used it several times in the last 5 days (we just purchased this). So far it has played very well, with a very good picture, and I’m satisfied thus far. I like that the battery fits flush with the line of the DVD itself (better than many other players). I’m still learning all the features, but I’d recommend this DVD player for anyone wanting a quality portable DVD for travel with longer battery life.

5 Stars Great Buy!
I ordered and received this product a little over a month ago. I read so many reviews on this website (for at least 5 models of all different brands) before i decided on this model. Although I orginally wanted a larger screen I chose this one because of all the wonderful reviews (thanks!). I bought it to use on a couple of flights out to the midwest and it was great. Picture quality is wonderful and the battery lasted for the whole flight (3.5 hours) and i still had plenty of battery life left afterwards. And that was even with the default light settings not the minimum like they suggest for extended battery life. And the sound is great too. For one flight i was in the very back seat, right next to the engine i believe, and altho i had the sound up the whole way it was enough to hear over everything. Overall i definatly think this product is worth it. If you can pull yourself away from the urge to buy a larger screen i would choose this one over a 9 or 10 inch one anyday.

Hope this was helpful.

5 Stars It plays Disney DVDs!
I LOVE this DVD player. Yes, the resolution is beautiful. But what’s really great? It actually works! It plays every DVD we put in it, even those tricky Disney DVDs that never seem to work quite right. This is the third portable DVD player we’ve owned and it’s by FAR the best. The many options the swivel screen provides for viewing convenience is also a nice feature, but the fact that it just works is the best. And, when you turn it off, it remembers where you were. Parents: No more waiting to get through previews and menus after a fill up at the gas station! Hurrah! Way to go Sony. This is truly intelligent design.

5 Stars The best in portable DVD player
I have a red version and purchase it from a different vendor because Amazon only carried black at the time. But they are functionally the same.

Amazing resolution and stereo sound. This player comes with an excellent remote control, but it is a pain to operate the player without it. Excellent battery life too, mine last at least 4 hours, plenty for a flight from Texas to California.

5 Stars Excellent Product
I first purchased a Panasonic portable dvd player pretty much on impulse at the store because the price was good. When I got home I read the reviews (I know, that’s kind of a backwards way to do it, but then it was an impulse buy) and they weren’t so good. After doing more research, it seemed this Sony unit came out the best so I returned the Panasonic and bought the Sony.

I am very happy with my purchase. What I like about this product is the build quality, the picture quality, and the swivel feature. Many portable players lack the swivel feature. This is a very convenient thing to have. And as far as picture quality and build quality, Sony is a reliable company for those two things. It is very well made, the accessories are also first rate, and the instruction manual is a real manual that is understandable and grammatically correct. Two thumbs up on this purchase!

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars portable dvd player
The Audiovox D2017 was just what we were looking for. This player looks and sounds great, would recommend this to anyone. The only thing we don’t like about it is it take a long time to bring up pictures when in insert the SD.

4 Stars good experience
works fine nice picture, battery life isn’t enough for 2 long movies and it will not recharge from the cigarette lighter adapter included but it will play til your car battery runs down nice setup all around except I think all the others I looked at would charge from lighter adapter I rated it 4 star because of the lighter adapter not charging battery it says it won’t not mechanical failure

4 Stars Good Value for the Price
The Audiovox D2017 is a good value. We’ve had it about a month. Good quality picture and easy to use. Have used it plugged in with the included AC adapter and also unplugged running off the battery. Good response either way. The sound is also reasonably good even without headphones (haven’t actually tried headphones yet). My only minor complaint is that you can’t control the volume using the mini remote control. You have to actually get up and adjust the volume manually as needed. Not a big deal - more of a minor inconvenience. For the price this portable DVD player is a winner.

4 Stars Audiovox D2017 10.2-Inch Slim Line Portable DVD Player (Black)
Great DVD player. Wish it would have come with a car mounting kit. Had just the electrical cords for the car and house. Fast delivery.

4 Stars Great 10″ Portable DVD Player
This is a great DVD Player. For those of you who like me have young kids and didn’t get the DVD package when buying your mini van, this is a great alternative. I also purchaced the Mo Go holder and when assembled correctly it provides a sturdy holder for this player between the two front headrest. The player also comes with media card slots to veiw slide shows of pictures from your digital camera. We just went away on vacation and held out as long as we could 3 hours in the car, and then put up the DVD player. There was total silence from the kids in back car seats…..

………..Priceless!!!

Philips PET702 7 Inch Portable DVD Player

Sit back, relax and watch movies on the go on the 7″ TFT LCD display of the Philips PET702. Enjoy your favorite DVD movies, MP3-CD and CD music, or admire your JPEG photos anytime, anyplace.

User Ratings and Reviews

2 Stars Poor battery life
The PET702 total battery life is less than 2.5 hours and it takes about 3 hours to fully recharge it before it can be used again. You cannot play any DVD’s during battery recharging using the included A/C cord or car charger. It has only one headset jack, so sharing the player on an airplane is impossible. For long car trips and hotel stays, you’ll need to play DVDs using your laptop computer and power cord to watch more than one movie. I could have purchased an additional rechargeable DVD player battery to get maybe 3 to 8 hours additional DVD viewing time however, the extra battery would cost between $40 - $80 more and it’s just not worth the trouble.

3 Stars its okay
its an okay product to have..bought it for my grandaughter to travel with..my only fault with this product is it doesnt stay charged long.. you can plug it into to charge, but not if you have your tomtom pluged in..

5 Stars Awesome dvd player
A+++ We live far away from the city so all of our drives are now quieter with this new purchase! We love it!!!

5 Stars Philips PET702 Portable DVD Player
DVD player arrived in just a few days in excellent condition. Player is very sturdy, easy to operate with a very good picture. The sound is a little low, but this could have been the dvd.

4 Stars Philips Portable DVD Player

Considering this is a reburshied product its in good condition, all the features work, and the quality of the picture is good. It met all my expectations of being able to watch movies when not at home. My only regret is that it can’t show movies that are in Blue-ray or high defintion format, the way yopu can see it from a TV.

With a diverse product lineup serving a variety of lifestyles and industries, Sony continuously strives to introduce new products and technologies to meet changing market needs.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Good Product
Player has worked well since we got it; it’s a little slow, but still more than adequate. Picture quality is very good as well.

4 Stars Great DVD
This is a great DVD, we use it on the job to show training information.

4 Stars For the price Excellent
i twont play all dvd types but its ok, soo far it hasn’t played only one dvd out of 40 (more or less)… i’ll say it’s a fair price for an acceptable DVD player

5 Stars good dvd player
I got this one after our old one bit the dust !(I never liked it). I did a lot of research for specific functions, this one fits the bill the most. Easy buttons, fast forward without the chance of advancing the screen, more than one fast forward speed, subtitle button, my son can operate it without help from me. So far, this is one of the dvd players I ever owned.

4 Stars good
works like it should. no sleep function. zoom buttons and slow motion with sound button. good features. slow loading, but no problems once it’s running.

good for a cheap dvd player. might be worth spending more on a better version.

Toshiba SD6100 1080p Upconverting DVD Player

Take advantage of a DVD player that can get the most out of your DVD collection. 1080p upconversion to near HD picture quality, the convenience of HDMI and REGZA LINK, and numerous playback options make the SD-6100 a great solution for your home theater needs.

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars nice dvd player
First, it is very light and small in size, so you don’t really need a lot of space for it. Mine sits in front of my 42 inch lcd tv. It does not have a clock but unless it’s a dvd burner, you don’t really need one. Second, it does not play homemade dvds, I get the message”bad disk” while I have no problem playing them on two of my other dvd players (Panasonic). I gave my daughter a Toshiba dvd player and she too, has the same problem so it must be the Toshiba technology. But the price was right for a HD player, about $52 so I’m not complaining. I do like Toshiba products so I tend to stick with the brand.

5 Stars Fantasic player really delivers
The Toshiba SD-6100 turned my perceptions of up-conversion upside down. My first experience with an upconverting DVD player was poor - the early generation HDMI Denon I bought on clearance gave no quality improvement over my old JVC in component 480p. But on this unit picture quality at 1080i and 1080p is fantastic. The player delivers rich colors due to the high 14-Bit video D/A conversion. It also does an amazing job de-blocking the DVD video MPEG artifacts and truly “up-converting” the lower resolution quality of DVD movies to a much better quality. This player made me a believer. I actually enjoy watching DVDs again on my 37″ LCD widescreen TV. A quick note for widescreen TV users - as soon as you get the DVD player online be sure to go into the setup and change the screen ratio setting from 4:3 to 16:9, otherwise your DVD videos may not stretch correctly to fit your screen. If the small remote leaves you wanting pick up a universal remote such as the Sony RM-VL600.

4 Stars good player for price
Great player for the low price. Too bad this player does not have a memory for last played locations on discs.

I wish it was able to output DD 5.1 via HDMI. I had to use the coax audio to do this. No biggie. I was just wanting to eliminate cables. Picture quality is good.

5 Stars Nice DVD player
This is a good alternative until you can afford BluRay player. Movies look really good. My toshiba TV remote worked automatically with the DVD player, no setup required so that was sweet too.

4 Stars Toshiba SD6100 1080p Upconverting DVD Player
For the money you can’t go wrong with this DVD player. I’d never heard of it until my nephew told me that he had purchased one and it was great.

He wasn’t wrong. Aside from owning a HD or Blue Ray disc player, this is ideal. All of my DVDs look like HD. It can’t play HD or Blur Ray, but I’m not ready to spend that kind of money yet….even on rentals. Next time maybe………….for now, I’m a happy camper with this great Toshiba.

5 Stars great dvd at a great price
i have no complaints about this product- it is fairly new but it works great. and the price is great for all that it comes with.

1 Star Very Disappointed in this DVD Player
We’ve had this dvd player for 6 months. The picture quality isn’t great. The worst part of the player is that it only gives you about 3 seconds of notice before the battery dies. Also, you can not charge the battery at the same time you are watching it. I would not recommend this dvd player.

5 Stars A Good BUy
This was good value. it works great for our kids in the car or if they want to watch a movie in their room. Head phones work good. Overall a very good buy

4 Stars nice, inexpensive, works great
It’s inexpensive, it works right out of the box, and the quality of the picture and sound seem just fine. The toddler loves it, the husband loves it, and it does entertain. It is a bit of a pain to get around some headrests (so you might want to get a bulldog clip or something to get it to hang right) but it is well worth the price.

5 Stars this is so m uch better with most usefull stuff than the coby i bought in the past
good product,YOU can carry it whereever you want, nice picture, do i have to say anything more important than this..oh yes…GOOD PRICE!
